The Fifteen Minute Hamlet

by Tom Stoppard

(with additional characters)

The Play ('98 Production)

The first performance of The (Fifteen Minute) Dogg's Troupe Hamlet was on the terraces of the National Theatre, South Bank, London in April 1976.

The action takes places at a shortened version of Elsinore Castle.

The play itself is a shortened version of Hamlet. If you know Shakespeare's Hamlet - don't worry - you'll be alright. If you don't - go read it.

This adapted version of The Fifteen Minute Hamlet is intertwined with an extremely shortened version of Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. If you don't know it - don't worry, but do go read that one too.
